Tacoma Museum, Warren Langley

The ..Art Light Exhibition (26 May- 14 June), curated by Interior Design lecturer Mike Day, will showcase work by 11 of the top lighting designers and light artists in Australia.

The event held in the UTS foyer daily until 10pm explores maximum visual impact with minimum energy consumption. Works by names such as Bert Bongers, Tom Loveday and Ruth McDermott will use 100% recycled materials, efficient discharge lamps or LEDs.

Smart Light Sydney is a part of the 2009 Vivid Sydney Festival. Vivid Sydney will be the biggest international music and light festival in the Southern Hemisphere. It will transform the city into a spectacular living canvas of music and light in and around the Sydney Opera House, The Rocks, Circular Quay and the city centre.
