St Clare's College, Waverley, student Yasmin Suteja has won the University of Technology, Sydney HSC Student Photography and Situated Media competition, with her winning entry, Destination Unknown.

We're looking for the next wave of professional photographers and situated media designers.

We're offering two prizes of $2,000 to the best photographer and the best situated media designer currently studying the HSC or equivalent.

What are we looking for?

Photography:

  • Quality, expression and originality
  • Photos that make a social, cultural or personal comment

Situated media:

  • Videos, photos or sound recordings of installations or interactive media works in relationship to place
  • Effectiveness, expression, originality and technical ability
  • Interactive installations or situated media that provoke a response or respond to their environment.
