A post-professional degree, the Master of Advanced Architecture in Urban Design prepares you to meet the challenges of urbanism in the 21st century by developing innovative design-based strategies and research into complex urban environments.

You will work in a collaborative environment, and be involved in a continuous series of research seminars and design studios that draw on the disciplinary knowledge of a wide range of invited guests across a broad range of professions.

This course encourages you to take an international perspective on contemporary urbanism by giving you the opportunity to travel to conduct research, develop international networks and gain skills that are relevant and mobile in global growth markets.
Informed by a research culture
As part of your learning, you will be actively involved in researching the dynamic relationships between different aspects of urban systems including infrastructure, information, politics and branding.

As a student of urban design, you will have the opportunity to draw on recent technologies that impact contemporary cities, including information modelling and management, as well as learning the latest in advanced design software.
