InternationalStudents

DAB welcomes students from all around the world as full time students, on exchange from their home countries or as study abroad students.

You are known as an international student if you do not have Australian citizenship or Australian permanent resident status.

Full degree international students

International students are able to apply for any course offered at DAB. UTS charges fees for these courses.

With our local students, our international students study courses which have international accreditations and reputations for the highest quality in design, architecture and the built environment. Many of our international students have also won prizes and awards for the high quality of their work, and have graduated to successful careers.

To apply for any of our full time courses, contact UTS: International for information, advice, forms and other details. UTS: International also has specialist advisers to help you settle in Sydney and study successfully.

Study abroad students

The Study Abroad program at UTS allows you to spend one or two semesters studying in Sydney. UTS charges fees for these subjects. You may choose subjects from a wide range of areas such as architecture, construction, fashion and textile design, industrial design, interior design, property economics and visual communication.

You can choose to spend a semester or two at UTS to add to the course you are studying at home. For more information or to apply for Study Abroad, visit the UTS: International website.

Exchange students

Exchange students spend up to a year studying at DAB, while paying course fees at their home institution.

As a student from one of the UTS Exchange Partner Universities, you can study at UTS on exchange and receive credit towards your degree at your home university. UTS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with many partner universities around the world.

To find out more information about doing a Student Exchange at UTS, visit the UTS Institute for International Studies.

Programs for Internationals

We offer several programs that make it easier for international students to adapt to the Australian style of university studies, and to meet and connect with local students.
