Through high-quality dialogue with local and international industry and research-focused institutions we empower our individuals and our community, to build a solid and creative network.

Applied learning and research at UTS: Design builds on studio practice and new technologies to refine design thinking for practice-orientated outcomes. We provide the frameworks for the future of the Design professions through examination, evaluation and experimentation of techniques, approaches and thought in design and design-related disciplines.

We have an international reputation for delivering the most innovative and respected design courses in Australia. Our transdisciplinary hubs mix the key areas of Fashion and Textiles, Industrial Design, Photography and Situated Media, Interior Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design and Animation to create thriving networks for students, academia and professionals in practice.
