DAB's three Schools all have close industry connections, which ensure that our courses and subjects are contemporary and relevant to today's professional workforce.

All changes to DAB courses, both Bachelors and postgraduate degress, are reviewed by advisory committees made up of leading practitioners in the design, architecture and building fields. In turn, DAB staff regularly consult to industry, and are members of professional and industry committees, often reviewing the content of professional development courses run by professional bodies and other associations.

The Faculty also attracts many industry professionals who teach within our courses as sessional tutors or as adjunct professors, offering joint projects between DAB and their workplaces.

Such close industry links has also seen the creation of many prizes, awards and scholarships, as well as the direct placement of students in internships and work placements.

Furthermore, the many accreditations available to our graduates is proof of the high status of DAB courses.
