In the photomedia area, students are taught an array of both analogue and digital camera formats, studio and location techniques, black and white film processing and printing, print toning and mounting, digital image correction and printing.
Facilities include a studio with electronic and tungsten lighting, product table, backdrops and a cyclorama. The film processing area includes film cubicles, chemicals, tanks, and drying equipment.
The black and white darkrooms contain enlargers, trays, washing and drying equipment, and automatic processing machines. The digital image lab contains a dozen high end Macintosh computers and a large variety of film scanners with variable formats. These facilities are available to students enrolled in Photography electives.
