Digitalworkshop

The state-of-the-art digital workshop holds two 3D printers, a laser cutter and a 3D scanner. This workshop allows students and staff to create three-dimensional prototypes very quickly, directly from a computer generated design.

The 3D scanner provides the ability to digitally record the physical properties of objects as a digital file for further design manipulation, while the laser cutter can cut a range of materials from cardboard and plastics to metal.
