BuildingLaboratory

Construction students use the Building Laboratory for compression and bending strength tests, accelerated erosion tests, measuring moisture content and the shrinkage or expansion of materials.

Building Lab

Equipment within the Building Laboratory is used for the construction of timber framing, bricklaying, earth block manufacture and concreting. The facility also supports associated construction research, including the specialised area of earth building research.
